This week marks a substantial milestone for Hoey, Farina
& Downes. We are celebrating
the one-year anniversary of our firm’s free weekly email newsletter –
Straight Track.
The idea behind
Straight Track was started after several clients suggested we might more
effectively communicate with them via email. Over the past twelve months,
Straight Track’s mission has expanded beyond its original scope of
better client contact.
Our goal behind
every issue of Straight Track is to help inform ALL railroaders of the
latest news and issues that affect their life on the rails. Characterized
by our firm’s straight forward and plain speaking approach, our mission
is to use Straight Track to bridge the gap between railroaders and the
legal world, which is becoming ever more involved in their work lives.
For the past
twelve months, Straight Track has covered a wide range of topics including
advice on injury management, the latest developments in the FELA law, and
new regulations issues by the Federal Railroad Administration.
We also tried to
focus on health related topics of concern to railroaders and their
families. These issues touch not only upon physical health but also the
effect upon the emotional health of railroaders injured on the job.
Straight Track
has also served as a vehicle to bring railroaders timely announcements of
H&F’s other free services to railroaders, including the Family
Members Seminar and the Net Track Seminar series.
However, we are
not satisfied to rest on our so-called laurels and want to know what YOU
want from future issues. We also want to know what you think about our
first year of Straight Track. The feedback will help us understand
what we're doing right and what we need to improve. It also helps us
understand the factors that contribute to our client’s decision to hire
our firm. With this information, we know we will be able to do an even
better job of representing the injured railroad worker.

Thanks

Hoey, Farina & Downes are committed to bringing you the best
information on the railroading issues that affect railroaders and their
family.
