Alan J. Fisher joined the firm in 1996. Alan began his law career working for a major railroad in Chicago in 1980. He also worked for two major Chicago law firms as a labor attorney before starting his own practice in 1986. Alan has served as a state and federal arbitrator and mediator. He resolved more than 700 labor disputes concerning contract and discipline issues, and presided over numerous arbitration panels in various industries throughout the United States.
Alan has lectured nationally on arbitration advocacy skills and has conducted numerous seminars concerning the FELA and arbitration issues. He is Designated Legal Counsel for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Alan is a member of the Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys.
